A church like St. Johns will always present challenges. Due to the size, complications such as screen size, projector strength and distance of cabling have to be considered. ACE Audio Visual have the experience to deal with these challenges. For this job a screen size of 4m electric screen was required. The projector, a 5000 lumen NEC projector was hung on the ceiling, 5m above the Altar. As the church is quite bright and also to fill a very big screen, a projector of this power was required. Cabling for the projector was run between the plasterboard suspended ceiling and roof, this the perfect solution as there is no visible cabling. The control for switching on the projector and lowering the screen is an Extron MLC62 which is located neatly beside the Sacristy. A wall input plate for laptop connection is positioned to the left of the Altar, this also has an audio jack. Audio was integrated into the existing audio system.
