HDR10 and HLG give stunning realism
This BenQ includes support for HDR10 and HLG. HDR10 is widely used on UHD gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a broadcast and user generated standard format that is seen as the standard for transmitting 4K signals.

Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.

For optimal colour, the W1800 features BenQ’s CinematicColor technology. This tech 100% meets the Rec. 709 HDTV standard for colour accuracy, giving you realistic colour with true-to-life texture and depth. The RGBRGB colour wheel and high contrast deliver crisp images and help maximise the full potential of 4K resolution.

Factory calibrated for out-of-the box colour accuracy
Making sure you get the best from your projector, straight out of the box, the W1800 comes with a factory calibration set-up and report. Using specialist instruments and software, the projector is calibrated and adjusted for precise D65 colour temperature, gamma, black level, white level, neutral grey, RGBCMY colour tracking, hue, saturation, brightness and output. This means a brilliant picture is guaranteed – straight out of the box.

Twin HDMI
With twin HDMI sockets, the BenQ is well equipped to handle your digital sources. Both sockets are compatible with HDCP2.2 (HDMI 2.0b), meaning you can connect up to UHD Blu-ray players and streaming devices and enjoy 4K HDR top quality vision. There’s also a handy USB interface for powering your smart TV device.
